Junji Ito-inspired horror game World of Horror is coming to Nintendo Switch, alongside PC, PS4, and PS5. The game will be coming to all platforms in summer 2023. The PC version is currently available as an early access release. Check out the Nintendo Switch trailer below.

Focusing on unsettling players with its art style inspired by horror manga artist Junji Ito, World of Horror features mysteries and stories inspired by cosmic horror and Eldritch mythology. The game features procedurally-generated combat encounters, twists, and endings.

World of Horror also features a complete set of modding tools, allowing players to develop their own stories and mysteries, as well as remix existing mysteries. According to developer Panstasz, World of Horror‘s unique 1-bit art style has been developed entirely in Microsoft Paint.

The PC version of World of Horror can be grabbed on Steam, Itch.io, and GOG. It is also available as part of PC Game Pass, and by extension, on the Microsoft Store.
