WWE 2K18 Announced For Nintendo Switch

Full feature parity with the other versions, too.

2K Sports has announced that WWE 2K18 will be hitting the Nintendo Switch in addition to PS4, Xbox One, and PC as well later this year. The announcement was probably expected – after all, NBA 2K18 was already announced for the Switch, and it is in fact one of the biggest third party games coming to the system. It makes sense 2K may want to bring its full range of games to a system that does so well with local multiplayer.

The release of WWE 2K18 will mark the first time the series has launched on Nintendo in five years, as well as the first time a portable version will be available in six years. 2K has confirmed that the Switch version will have full feature parity with the Xbox One, PS4, and PC versions of the game. That said, they have also confirmed that, contrary to reports this morning, the Switch version is due out slightly later than the other versions of the title, for now listed only for a ‘Fall 2017’ release.

Nonetheless, as long as the release isn’t staggered too much, I presume a lot of people may just wait for the Switch version, which lends itself better to the kind of game WWE 2K18 is. Hopefully, there isn’t much of a delay. For now, watch this announcement video of the Switch version, and enjoy.
