WWE 2K18 MyCareer Mode Detailed Further

Two completely different career paths.

2K will be releasing WWE 2K18 next month, and ahead of its release, they have detailed some updates on the game’s planned MyCareer career mode. This year’s entry places an emphasis on narrative and storytelling- to that effect, there will be two paths given to players to choose in the career, Company Man and Fan Favorite.

Both paths will naturally lead to different narratives unfolding, and different objectives- as a Company Man, you will help WWE executives maintain their vision for the company, in turn getting useful upgrades, and access to the office of WWE Chairman and CEO, Vince McMahon. Fan Favorite, on the other hand, will see you doing whatever is necessary to win the adoration of the masses, earning the ability to customize your very own WWE Championship or Universal Championship.

Both career paths will eventually lead to Wrestlemania, and you will get the chance to continue your career after that regardless. Additionally, backstage free-roam, MyCareer Invasion, and  updated promos are all further additions to this year’s career mode too.

WWE 2K18 launches on PS4 and Xbox One on October 17, with a Nintendo Switch release planned for later in the year.
