Players are starting to see increased queue times for Xbox Cloud Gaming, according to Windows Central. Players in some regions have reported a surge in their queue times, and have been attributed it to the popularity of Grand Theft Auto 5.

According to Windows Central, queuing up has been taking anywhere from 3 minutes to over 5 minutes, with the report revealing that some queues are taking even longer with a “Sorry, this is taking longer than we expected” message.

Xbox Cloud Gaming has been seen by subscribers as a nice bonus to have along with Xbox Game Pass. The service has seen quite a bit of growth, especially with it becoming available on smart TVs.

The service launched on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S platforms back in 2021, and has since seen quite a few games being added to its roster. Alongside first-party Xbox games, the service also has titles like Grand Theft Auto 5 and Fortnite.
