If you’re an Xbox Insider, there’s some welcome news that should have you running to your device to see what’s changed.
There’s the new and improved Xbox app for PC, touted to launch 60% faster, and loading commonly used pages is cited as 50% faster than you’re used to. Your library and friends list will also be easier to reach, with tweaks for easier searching and a cleaner UI.
The Xbox web experience is also getting key changes, including a better approach to showing what you can play via cloud gaming on your device of choice. There’s also a better Desktop mode, options to switch between light and dark modes and adjust contrast to your liking. Lastly, cloud gaming on compatible TVs and VR headsets is also getting improvements like a “refreshed look and feel”.
The news comes hot on the heels of the addition of AMD FSR 4 to the Xbox Series X|S, and the Xbox Ally and Ally X. The new features will be rolled out to the rest of you in good time (though exactly when remains to be announced), but you could always sign up for the Insider program if you can’t wait to see what’s new.
