Microsoft have usually been on point as far as their offerings for Xbox Live Games With Gold have gone over this past year or so. However, this month’s offering is a bit of a limp one from them, at least as far as the Xbox One side of the equation is concerned.
For the month of November, Microsoft will be offering Super Dungeon Bros., and Murdered: Soul Suspect to Xbox One owners. Super Dungeon Bros. is alright, while Murdered has an interesting premise, which it entirely squanders with botched execution. Over on the Xbox 360 side, the offerings are far better- subscribers get Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, which is excellent, as well as The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition.
Of course, Xbox One owners make out well in this all, too, since the Xbox 360 titles will also be playable on Xbox One thanks to the platform’s backwards compatibility. On the whole, it’s an alright month- not the best the service has had, but it’s not half bad, either.
