Xbox One Boot Screen Is Going To Change. Just A Little Bit.

This is news.

The next update for the Xbox One will also see the boot screen that you see when you start the console up change just a little. An Xbox One Ambassador, who has early access to next month’s update, posted this on Reddit, saying that the new update adds three dots beneath the Xbox One logo (pictured above), and maybe a subtle, minor pulsing of the ‘X’ in the logo.

The three dots presumably exist to ensure the user knows that the system hasn’t frozen (an Xbox One cold boot can take a fair bit of time).

But… yeah, that’s it. That’s all the changes. And this constitutes news.

Happily enough, the next update is a whole lot more substantial than just this minor cosmetic logo redesign. It also sees changes to the friends list and management, and it adds the much vaunted 3D Blu Ray playback feature to the system.
