Xbox One X

Microsoft Marketing Manager Albert Penello recently took to Twitter to answer a number of questions regarding the soon-to-arrive Xbox One X. It seems that Microsoft is leaving no room for failure with the latest console, judging from Penello’s answers to fans.

One user asked which cables would be suitable for the Xbox One X and whether these will ship with the console itself. As confirmed by Albert Penello, owners of the Xbox One X will not need to purchase any additional HDMI cable as it will already ship with suitable cables (the same ones used for both the Xbox One and the Xbox One S).

Players will obviously be able to play the Xbox One version of a game until an update for the Xbox One X version rolls out. However, even without this update, the increased power should ensure that the game will run better on the new console.

Updates to the Xbox One X version will automatically be downloaded as well unless players opt out. There will also be a new filter under “My Games” titled “Xbox One X Enhanced” which will list what games have updates available for the Xbox One X.

Let us know in the comments below if you’re looking forward to the release of the Xbox One X and what games you’re looking forward to try on it.
