Xenoblade 2 Patch 1.3 Coming Next Week, Adds New Game Plus Mode (Among Other Things)

Those include an Easy Mode, an improved map, improved UI, and more.

Monolith Soft and Nintendo’s acclaimed Switch exclusive JRPG Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be getting its next major update, 1.3, next week. It sounds like it will be a hefty one, too. The chief, headlining feature that it adds to the game will be a New Game Plus mode, which will see your non story blades, your character levels, equipment, affinities and abilities, inventory, money, town development, and slain unique monsters all carry over.

It will also be adding an Easy Mode, as well as inventory sorting options, a map that is actually useful by having icons on it, blade organization options, and more. You can check out the full patch notes below, though bear in mind that there may be some story spoilers.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 launched last year exclusively on the Nintendo Switch. It was an exceptionally great, if flawed, game, and this post launch support looks to be ironing out the rough edges.
