Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Nintendo is going to be ending the year for the Switch the exact same way it began- with a vast, grand, sprawling adventure that you can take with you wherever you go. Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the first numbered sequel to Monolith Soft’s hit Wii exclusive JRPG, is out now on the Switch, and to remind us just why we should care, Nintendo has put out a launch trailer for it.

The launch trailer doesn’t have too many spoilers, and it seems to set up the premise of the game, while also showing us some gameplay footage, well enough. It seems like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be a great game for Switch owners to curl up with and play over the winter.

Make sure to check out the launch trailer for the game for yourself below. Xenoblade Chronicles 2, developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo, is out now exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
