Yaiba First Trailer Reveals Animated Zombie Slashing Mecha Ninja Madness

Already 1000 times better than Resident Evil 6.

It’s funny just how much a single trailer can reinvigorate one’s interest in zombies and hack-and-slash. The gameplay may not always be up to snuff, but in the case of Comcept’s Yaiba, it looks like Resident Evil creator Keiji Inafune is going the route of balls-to-the-wall insanity.

From the looks of it, you’ll play as a ninja with cybernetic enhancements killing zombies, which resemble more demonic entities than typical meandering dead. The trailer doesn’t announce any platforms, but hey, “The dead will die again”.

Colour us intrigued. Now let’s see how the game takes shape.
