Yakuza Like A Dragon

Life sure can turn some swerve balls at you. Fans of the long running Yakuza series learned that earlier in the year when the long running brawler series was turned into a full blown turn-based RPG. The fanbase still doesn’t seem to quite know what to make of that, but near the end of the month, they’ll at least have a meaty gameplay demonstration to get a grip on things.

An official broadcast will come from the game’s official Japanese YouTube. The presentation will feature General Director Toshihiro Nagoshi, Chief Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama and Producer Hiroyuki Sakamoto as they go through a live presentation of the gameplay. It’s not clear how much will be new, but you’ll at least get to see a decent amount of action.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon will release in 2020 exclusively for the PlayStation 4. The stream will happen on October 29th at 20:00 JST. If you’re curious to know what how the team saw reception to the major shift in gameplay systems, take a look at what the Producer had to say about it through here.
