Yoola-Laylee Is Now Out For Nintendo Switch, Gets Colorful Launch Trailer

Playtonic returns home.

It’s been a long wait, but Yooka-Laylee, the Playtonic developed 3 platformer, made in the vein of classic N64 collectathon 3D platformers, is now finally available on the Nintendo Switch. While the quality of the actual game itself is debatable, especially given how poor critical and player reception for it was earlier this year, the port itself seems to be a really well done one- it seems like, on that count, at least, it was well worth the wait.

If you want to see whether or not Yooka-Laylee might be something that you would want to pick up for yourself, the good news is that there is a brand new trailer commemorating its Nintendo Switch launch- you can see it for yourself below. The game is also available to download on the Switch eShop, if you feel like you want to hop on board.

Yooka-Laylee is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One additionally.
