Players will be able to customize their own emblems in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Kojima has confirmed. it will be a pretty full featured image editor too, with multiple layers, alphabet placement and manipulation, and silhouette manipulation.

The utility of this is that it will let you customize your mother base, your outfit, and even your avatar while playing online, allowing for some personalization in multiplayer games. Kojima also announced that the Limited Edition of the game will come with the Venom Snake emblem. What’s more, you will also be able to use the individual components of that emblem in designing new, custom emblems of your own, he confirmed.
