Zelda 3DS and Kid Icarus: Uprising to launch sometime after E3

Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime has confirmed that Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Kid Icarus: Uprising will not be launching within the 3DS’ launch window. “Mario, Zelda… all of those titles are coming, and from our perspective we like to launch titles when they’re ready. They’ll be ready and they’ll be ready soon, but just not in that initial time period of late March to early June,” he said.
“For games like Kid Icarus, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart… those games we’ll share more information about at E3. Certainly they’ll launch after E3.”

We have still been promised over 30 games for the 3DS by E3, but it seems hardcore Zelda fans will have to wait a while for their next fix.
