Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner MARS is the remastered version of the original game that was released back in 2003. This remastered edition was announced back in 2017 and now the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has revealed that the game is set to release in Japan in September of this year.
This remastered edition will feature remastered audio, improved graphics, and will even support 4K resolution. Gamers will also be ale to experience the game in a whole new light as it also brings some virtual reality content through the PlayStation VR and Steam VR. This is also great news for PC users who may not have had the chance to experience the game either on the PS2 or the HD version on the PS3.
As of now, we have no information regarding a Western release of the game, so we’ll just have to wait for some official confirmation regarding this.
