When Zynga was actually a company that posted lot of profits, it was also dependent on how Facebook performed revenue wise. Ever since the company tried to become independent they’ve started getting pummeled in the market however such less reliance on Facebook may turn out to be good for them.

They have announced that they have dropped the Facebook logins from their official site. It was something their users wanted as well.

Tim Catlin, general manager of Zynga.com, told Reuters that, “You had to use your Facebook account to play previously, but this is going to change going forward.

The company was highly dependent on Facebook and their revenues were hurt due to more players entering the market, but they are trying to bounce back now.
