Today’s certainly a jolly day for E3 leaks, as artwork and screenshots for the multiplayer component of Ubisoft Montreal’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag are now available.

The artwork showcases the different kind of pirates – both male and female – that the player can select. We also get a look at some of the signature weapons they’ll be using, which includes dual pistols, a hatchet, cutlass and fencing sabre. One of the gameplay screenshots showcases a kukri-like dagger along with what appears to be a hidden blade.

It also appears that along with ports and cities, the action will also span the vast wilderness of which we’ve only seen glimpses of here and there. Players will be able to scale trees and swing from branches in an effort to assassinate their foes.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag releases on October 29th in North America and November 1st in Europe for PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases also in the pipeline.
