Since it was first unveiled as Project Eve several years ago, Korean studio Shift Up’s Stellar Blade has been on the radar for many, and now the action title is celebrating its release. Though officially the PS5-exclusive hasn’t yet launched in many regions of the world, there are some that have got access to it, to celebrate which Sony has released a launch trailer for the game. Stellar Blade sees players stepping into the shoes of Eve, a cyborg who is a member of the 7t Airborne Square. With Earth having been destroyed long ago by the mysterious creatures known as Naytiba, Eve is dispatched on a mission to fight against humanity enemies and ensure the planet’s survival. From NieR: Automata and The Matrix to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Bayonetta, and more, Stellar Blade takes inspiration in its gameplay and story from plenty of popular media.
