Assassin's Creed Pirates

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Pirates, the mobile strategy action title for iOS and Android, has received its first major update which brings new missions, achievements and new exploration paths for players. The update has already gone live.

This include 10 new side quests on a new map that also brings forth a new campaign mission. With all this content, there will be more treasure to find, ships to unlock and scurvy dogs to hire. Ubisoft has also raised the difficulty, with one of the new maps – Nassau – requiring more effort to defend.

You’ll have some new mechanics for doing so though including the ability to destroy cannonballs in mid-fire along with more opportunities for counterattacking. This doesn’t mean things will be easier, but it will give you a fighting chance.

Finally, Ubisoft has incorporated a new social feature which allows you to measure your progress against your friends. How you are finding Assassin’s Creed Pirates? Let us know what you think of the update in the comments below.
