Konami and Mercury Steam have released some new screenshots for the upcoming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, set to release on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, at this year’s Comic Con. Check them out below.

Taking place after Gabriel Belmont is transformed into Dracula, you’ll start off the game with a different set of weapons and persona. You’ll be able to upgrade weapons with combos and also explore a new open world with a fully controllable camera this time around. Other promised features include a longer single player mode and no loading times.

The events of the game are said to tie into not just the first game, but also the 3DS spin-off, Mirror of Fate which sees Dracula trying to regain his powers while the next Belmont and Alucard seek to stop his resurrection once and for all (this week, at least). Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 is slated to release in Q4 2013.
