Cliff Bleszinski is revealing his new game, called LawBreakers, and formerly known by its codename of Project Bluestreak, on Twitch right now. You can catch the livestream for yourself below. It includes a whole lot of talking, but it’s nice to get into the developer’s mindset for his new game.
We’ve been getting a lot of teases for the game recently- we got a new trailer on Monday, and then one more again yesterday. It seems that that was all leading up to this reveal today.
LawBreakers itself seems to be a new FPS that emphasizes player skill over elements like killstreaks and perks that have become a mainstay of modern shooters. It takes place in a futuristic world, where the world has developed low gravity zones that gives people superpowers. It’s a five on five team shooter, and half of the playable cast will be female.
