Crackdown 3 Voice Actor Silences Hater On Twitter

Time to start caring.

Exclusive games usually draw the ire of fanboys, because they can be, and often are, used as ammunition in fanboy wars. Crackdown 3 being one of the major high profile upcoming exclusives for the Xbox One means that some gamers have trained all of their guns on it… except they probably didn’t expect Terry Crews himself, who voices a character in the game, to jump on them when they did.

When someone disgruntled took to Twitter to voice the opinion that Terry Crews’ inclusion in the game is the only reason anyone might want to care about Crackdown 3, Crews responded to that with ‘So start caring, bitch’, a hell of a mic drop moment that got acknowledged by Aaron Greenberg as well.

To his credit, the guy who made the comment took it in good humor, playing along with Crews (who, in turn, played along with him). Crackdown 3 is due out on the Xbox One X and Windows 10 PCs on November 7 this year.

That’s priceless. I was laughing so hard at his reply that I almost spat my tea all over the computer’s screen when I read it.

  • Mr Xrat

Gonna take more than the Crews gimmick to save this sorry-a*s game.

    • Fweds

You seriously need to move on, using multis and Upvote bot all in one article simply because another game is not coming to your console (which you clearly never use as you are posting nonsense on Xbox 24/7) is not healthy.

    • Mr Xrat

      “Wait for Gamescom!!!!”

After telling yourself to wait for E3 for six months and it was still lacklustre.

      Keep waiting.

    • Fweds

Yes I also can’t wait to see it at Gamescom.

Yes I agree E3 was great for MS especially with having nothing but a couple of spin-offs later this year.

Yes we will keep waiting but it’s only around 3 weeks away so be patient.

    • Mr Xrat

Your E3 sucked, your Gamescom’s going to suck like every other one over the last four years and you will be forever waiting.

    • Fweds

Yes I agree Sony’s E3 was poor (sucked) and their Gamescom(if they turn up) will be like most others, so poor they didn’t even turn up for either Gamescom or Paris games week last year as they didn’t think a few indie titles would go down well.

Still you may not be waiting forever as they are still ‘Considering’ attending this year.
I suppose they have to make an appearance considering the exact same month they are increasing the price of PS+ by a MASSIVE 13 Dollar’s in EU and the UK.

    • Mr Xrat

Don’t have an point? Just force the S**tbox’s deficiencies onto the competition. Classic Xgimp behavior. It’s why everyone hates you. 🙂

    • kma99

Good thing we don’t need your sorry a$$ opinion. I’m sure you will he on metacritic giving fake reviews ad usual

    • Mr Xrat

I won’t need to do anything, Cackdown 3 looks like another classic MS blunder that’ll be forgotten in a week.

    • kma99

You didn’t say that about last guardian, journey or gravity rush did you? Sir down clown.

    • Mr Xrat

All of those games performed critically and commercially better than your disaster games.

    • kma99

Game hasn’t even came out yet. But for giggles post us those number you’re bragging about.

    • Mr Xrat

The Japanese numbers and their performance in international charts lend to around a million for each for them, which is more than can be said for MS’ crusty t**ds like Dead Rising 4. Stay mad. 🙂

    • kma99

Lol that’s some extended damage control right there. Lpl8

  • Wei Feng

No burn , a salty 30ps destruction downgrade with PS2 graphics.
Force Crews to support it with Money.

    • Fweds

Yes I agree that it’s good to see the game is getting close to release looks great, hopefully we will see the full multiplayer destruction at the Gamescom show in 3 weeks time.

    • Ocelot forgot his meds

You should not speak of GT sport that way.

I don’t necessarily agree with mindlessly or disingenuously bashing games just because of exclusivity. Developers work hard but this article contains a lot of hypocrisy and interesting logic. So you’re calling the person a fanboy simply because the person stated, “The only reason anyone would care about this game is because of Terry Crews”?

I’ve seen a lot of valid criticism of the game. The game was announced 4 years ago despite Phil Spencer’s bs claim that they don’t want to preannounce games that are years away. (Seems like obvious damage control for a dry lineup and a passive aggressive dig at Sony). However, demonstrations of the game so far didn’t exactly reflect what many expected of a big budget AAA game that Microsoft hyped in development for over 4 years and is launching this Nov among larger profile games. One could say gameplay & characters seem shallow & the story seems nonexistent. Microsoft’s marketing for the game has been strange.

This person could be someone who only owns an Xbone. So by claiming this person is a fanboy, does that make Terry Crews a fanboy for his seemingly salty reply?

Also interesting how you seem to be siding with Terry Crews & Aaron Greenberg. Terry Crews’s reply wasn’t very professional even if he is known for vulgarity in his acting roles. Terry Crews was obviously paid to promote the game so obviously he would defend it. If I were Terry Crews and I would feel like a tool shilling for Microshaft.

The fact that Aaron Greenberg a Microsoft executive would encourage such a reply is not a surprise and could look strange seeing a gaming news site cheering. Aaron Greenberg’s support for such a reply doesn’t make him, Xbox or the game look good. On the contrary, it makes him and Xbox look flat out bad. But it isn’t a surprise coming from him who is known for lying, contradicting himself, encouraging extreme Xbox fanboyism, encouraging console wars in his attempts to promote Xbox.

If someone were to bash a PlayStation exclusive and an actor called that person a b***h, do you think Aaron Greenberg would care? One cannot defend or support Aaron Greenberg’s behavior while simultaneously trying to discourage console wars. It doesn’t make sense.

And seeing a gaming news site (like this one that relies on console wars for views) calling this person a fanboy while cheering for Terry Crews’s no less fanboyish reply, one could say you’re trying to start a fanboy war with a click bait article. Not only could this article seem like click-bait but Terry Crews’s reply doesn’t look any better than the person he is replying to and Aaron Greenberg’s involvement is just laughable.

    • mastalin

This was the longest most pointless thing ive read today. Whats laughable is that the person involved saw it like it was meant which was in good fun while you seemingly decided it was more than that and simply used your rant to say “xbox and its workers look bad”.

    • Fweds

You actually bothered to read it ? Lol

Maybe you got taken in by the Fake Upvotes.

    • mastalin

I seek good conversation lol it often makes me regret that I did it.
