Destiny 2 was recently announced, and the game will be launching this September, and as such, Bungie and Activision have done a great job of releasing a lot of interesting details and information on the game. And now it looks like we will have even more information on the game “very soon”.

As per a post on Reddit, a number of YouTubers recently got the opportunity to speak with Activision and Bungie about Destiny 2 at length, and one of them revealed in their videos that the publisher will be coming out with new details on the game very soon. We don’t know what kind of details they will be, and we don’t know how soon “soon” will be, but we do know that it’s coming.

Additionally, it looks like Xbox boss Phil Spencer has high hopes from the upcoming game, saying that people will be playing it for a long time after it is released. He has compared the game to World of Warcraft in that regard. That’s seriously high praise. “Destiny 2‘s gonna be one of these games that I expect five, six, seven years from now, people are still going to be playing that game,” he said while speaking with Gamasutra. “It’s going to be a little bit like WoW. Which you know, whatever its been, 10 years later, 15 years later, millions of people play the game.”
