Destiny The Taken King

Bungie didn’t mince words in its latest Weekly Update for Destiny. The Taken King’s raid, King’s Fall, will finally be receiving its Hard version on October 23rd and it already sounds like a doozy.

The recommended light level has been placed at 300 to 320 with loot dropping between 310 and 320 light. Bungie hasn’t offered any hints about the differences between Normal and Hard mode but it will “plot the difficulty incline”. There will also be more insights from the raid design team, hopefully providing more information about the challenges in store.

At this point, it seems that it will pose a suitable challenge even for 310 Light Guardians. Not everyone has hit that magic number though so it remains to be seen how the various bosses and enemies will be designed with this in mind.

King’s Fall Hard Mode will go live at 10 AM PST on October 23rd so stay tuned for more information in the coming days.
