Following yesterday’s weekly reset for Bungie’s Destiny, many players started reporting that the first challenge for Rise of Iron’s Wrath of the Machine raid was already live. This was confirmed on Twitter by Bungie where it also noted the opportunity to earn raid ornaments and raid gear.

As per threads on the game’s Reddit, it appears that Vosik is the first challenge this week. Want to know how to beat it? Avoid reading any further if you don’t want spoilers.

Essentially, the safe rooms that are active after each damage phase must now be closed using the SIVA charges that drop from the ceiling. Completing the challenge will award you with 385 Light loot on Normal difficulty and 400 Light loot on Heroic.

Dismantling your armour ornament will net you one Silver Dust so if you want some way to farm it, there it is (although it’s doled out once a week per character).

What are your thoughts on the first raid challenge? Let us know in the comments below.
