Today the exclusive pre-order content for the PS4 exclusive, Driveclub was detailed by Evolution Studios.
DriveClub is centered on building an interconnected community of varied clubs and racers, combined with interesting and new challenges. The way that players get into the game plays a large part in their experience. Players will have immediate access to a huge variety of cars and racetracks, and players will be given the opportunity to create and share their own challenges and achievements.
Sounds pretty good for off-the-bat content. Now let’s take a look at the pre-order exclusives: Depending on what retailer you decide to pre-order from, players will have their choice of three distinctly exclusive pre-order packs. Each pack will include an exclusive livery design, a supercar, and an initial fame boost to set you on your way.
In addition to the pre-order packs, players who purchase Driveclub will be granted a free three month PlayStation Plus subscription. And current PlayStation Plus subscribers get immediate limited access to the Driveclub community. PlayStation Plus subscribers who haven’t bought the full game can choose to do so, or to unlock it piece by piece at their leisure.
Truly this is an innovative step in game release, giving players unprecedented control over how much they want to get out of a game.
