The development for the Fight Night franchise is currently on hold according to IGN. They confirmed this after speaking with Andrew Wilson the CEO  of EA Sports.

“Right now, a great portion of the core of the Fight Night team are actually the team that are building UFC,” said Andrew Wilson to IGN.

EA Sports is currently developing FIFA 14, new UFC title, NBA Live 14 and a new Madden that will be running on Ignite Next-Gen Engine for next-generation platforms.

Those who were looking forward to seeing a next-generation Fight Night title are going to be disappointed for the time being. Meanwhile, the best thing to do is wait patiently and see what happens next. I am pretty positive that EA Sports won’t leave out Fight Night fans lurking in the dark for too long.

I am pretty upset i think they did a really good job on producing fight night champion except from not producing a lower block to defend those cheating players who come into a fight and jab to the body the whole fight until the fighter shaken for a easy knockout. I was only foward to getting fight night champion looking forward to fighters like carnelo flloyd mayweather, adrien broner tyson fury chris eubank jr and few others to be on the new title and also to see a new chamion mode maybe muhammad ali life or an interesting upcoming fighters more ways to get injured, maybe a online title belt mode where u fight to win a belt against highly ranked fighters theirs so much that can be done with the title boxing a older sport than mma and ufc . its a shame i think they should blame their promotions and advertising team in the uk ufc was promoted alot better thus more sales.
