The rest of the world may be partaking in Bethesda’s Fallout 4 but for the denizens of Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, it’s business as usual. A brand new update has been released for Square Enix’s MMORPG, updating it to version 3.1 and bringing several new features to the foray.

“As Goes Light, So Goes Darkness” features new story quests, exploratory missions, the new Void Ark dungeon, beast tribe quests, etc. for players. There are also some new Treasure Hunts, Housing options, a new competitive mini-game at the Manderville Gold Saucer and more to explore. The good news is that those some of these changes require the Heavensward expansion, the majority are available for the entire game’s population without any trouble.

PC players will need 1.7 GB for the new update while PS4 players will need 1.4 GB. Let us know what you think of the new update in the comments below and check out the full patch notes here for more information.
