For Honor 2

Ubisoft’s For Honor has been a strong success for the company. Its closed alpha, which ended on September 18th, attracted tons of attention with several hundreds of thousands of players averaging four hours and 38 minutes overall. Interestingly, demand to participate was 40 percent higher than previous games that were in the testing stage.

A third of all players participated in three or more days of the four day alpha and it was the second most watched game on Twitch.tv while also staying in top ten for most of its four days. Almost 5.8 million executions and 89.6 million dead warriors were witnessed, which amounts to 16 executions and 259 defeats per second.

For Honor releases on February 14th 2017 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It’s essentially a duel-based hack and slash title with AI enemies, real players out for your blood and an interesting combat system that rewards anticipation and patience. How did you find the closed alpha? Let us know in the comments.
