Look, the Forza developers are excited about the Xbox One X- I get that. I do. I understand that, because it’s a reasonably exciting piece of hardware. But they’ve already put their foot in their mouth once before with their ‘highest quality pixels’ comment, so you’d think they’d be more careful about what they say going forward.

Nope! Forza 7 Software Architect Chris Tector said in an interview with Eurogamer that Forza 7 on Xbox One X can substitute for the experience you would otherwise have to pay thousands of dollars for on PC. “Rather than hoping you can afford a multi-thousand dollar PC that can achieve it, we’re going to have people playing at console, native 4K, 60 frames a second,” he said.

Which is… well, for starters, PCs really are not that expensive, and an equivalent PC to the Xbox One X would be a few hundred dollars more. Secondly, if he were talking about the performance that Forza 7 can achieve on a multi thousand dollar PC, then no, the Xbox One X is not a system that would be able to achieve it- certainly not with its crippled, bottlenecked CPU, no.

Guys, the Xbox One X is truly great- but maybe rein in the hyperbole a bit?

    They say that…

then they release the PC recommended (not minimum – recommend) specs of a gtx 670?!

FYI – The gtx 670 is early 2012 (The x70 series is usually the popular cost efficient mid-high card – not the ultra x80 or x80 ti).

Yeah yeah I know that’s likely for 1080p 60 fps… but obviously, like most corridor driving games, the game is not demanding.

It’s actually not that exciting either. They need to find another game other than Forza if they wanna stay on this native 4k promotion thing, just to sell people on the One X.

my best friend’s step-mother makes $85 hourly on the computer . She has been fired from work for nine months but last month her pay check was $17089 just working on the computer for a few hours. see it here ++++++++++

A 4k ryse 2. Like I always pitch for would’ve been good on them

They have Minecraft I believe, it’s probably gonna be mostly first party.

4k pixels Native at 60 FPS. All 8million. When most 4k content is upscaled. I think you missed his point on that. 4k owners have to deal with upscaled content mostly for now. so he was right about getting to see your 4k TV perform as it was meant to. The Pro doesn’t do that. A Pc can but not many people hook up a PC to their TV. Some do just to get 4k content. So indeed your getting the best pixels if they are
    Native like Forza.

The game looks bland and lifeless. Constantly pushing that native 4k resolution angle won’t help a dull, boring racing game suddenly become exciting, and a must own game. As a matter fact, if Microsoft continues to get caught in the”native 4k graphics matter” mentality, they’re going to be in big trouble in early 2018. Sony is bringing “games, games, games”. Do you guys remember when Phil, after closing those Xbox tv studios, said he would be focusing on “games, games, games? Now, after seeing the success of Horizon Zero Dawn(sold 3.4 million copies), they’re just now getting a clue as to what huge variety of single player games, and genres, that gamers actually want to play.

They keep pushing this lame Forza 7,4k gameplay, that looks completely boring, the colors look so washed out. LOL, are you guys freakin serious? This game looks ultra sharp, to the point of the detail looking extremely bland, and the game play looks lame. Sorry guys. Lets just be real. Nobody is getting too excited about this.

And now for something fun that gamers really want to play. Mutherflukkin Spiderman.

The colors do look washed out in this video. I watched a few others and they look much better. The rain race I watched looked impressive. You say gameplay looks completely boring. I am sure it won’t be boring when I am racing with my friends in our league. there was 10 of us in our last league. Not boring my friend. Am I excited about this game yes, but not like I was when Forza 1 or 2 came out, but yes. I will buy it. Sorry not really into Spider-Man. The trailer looks cool I guess. I tend to lose interest in 3rd person single player games. hope you enjoy.

Forza 7 will be the best racing game out this year again, and look flawless while doing it. The mountain track in Dubai is mindblowing, can’t wait for this thing come Nov. 7!

And don’t even get me started on that sweet god of war clip… We both know Phil….meh

“The game looks bland and lifeless”

Makes a statement that Forza 7 looks bland and lifeless lol. Ignores how bland and lifeless GT Sport looks. Don’t worry, the comparison videos of both games will release, and we will see how both games stack up with one another.

    • 9+10=21

This is not really a good video, in others the colours look much better.

As I’ve played forza horizon 3 I can assure you it is not lifeless. Take a break at critcising Microsoft

    Uh no lol
