Ghost Recon Wildlands PC Patch Now Live, Fixes “Major Compatibility and Performance” Issues

Quad-core CPU and multi-GPU systems see fixes as well.

Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands has received the new patch 1.1.5 on Steam/Uplay and it contains some fixes and improvements for “major compatibility and performance”. This is an intermediary patch though so keep that in mind.

At roughly 4 GB, the patch includes improved support for Multi-GPU systems with numerous stuttering and graphical corruption issues fixed; improved support for quad-core CPUs to fix freezes and other performance issues, especially for those using Intel Core-i5 configurations; better performance on AMD GPUs; background scaling for 4K menus; and improved support for Ansel including bug fixes. Ubisoft also noted that several “crash sources” have also been addressed so you can expect performance to be more stable as a whole.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands seems to be doing reasonably well. It’s launch day had more active Steam players than the busiest day of the open beta though it’s early days yet. What are your thoughts on it so far? Let us know in the comments below.
