The PS4 Slim isn’t the best looking system around, but it looks pretty damn good in colors other than black. Sony apparently got the memo, because they may be preparing a launch of the system in what is either the most attractive, or the tackiest, color of them all- gold.
Reddit user marmaro8 has posted an image of what looks to be a 1TB Gold PS4 Slim, with speculation pegging the release date for the system at June 9 (which is just a few days before E3). If this is true, it is certainly a cool way to retain interest in the PS4 for an uncharacteristically slow month for the system.
It’s not that unlikely, either- a gold colored DualShock 4 is already available (albeit in limited quantities, and only from specific retailers). Having an actual gold colored console to go along with that isn’t the most outlandish idea in the world.
