GTA 5 Release Date March 2013? Will Not Be Shown At GamesCom

GTA 5 speculation is at an all time high with Rockstar releasing two screenshots from the game recently to satisfy fan demand. According to a report by whatculture, it is hinted that the game could release in March 2013, and there are a lot of logical reasons to support this.

Take-Two is targeting $1 billion in revenues for fiscal year 2012, and that’s simply not possible considering Max Payne 3 did not sell all that well and the only way they can hit that target is by releasing GTA 5 early, which is expected to sell 20 million copies which results in a $1 billion revenue.

However, we do have one bad news for the fans. GTA 5 will not be shown at GamesCom.

Franko Fischer, communications manager of Gamescom’s organising body Koelnmesse, said “Rockstar Games is not scheduled and has never been scheduled to exhibit at Gamescom 2012. We apologise for any confusion this may have caused.”

Hey this is Dan from RockstarGames. We are having current platforming troubles along with the release of this next series in the franchise. To tell you the truth the trailer should not have been released until this november. Screenshots are coming but a new trailer will be released during the holidays.

I am way to anxious about this game. I remember when the trailer was released and I eas hoping for may 2012 for a releqse date. Then it jumped to maybe this time of the year and then Christmas time and now march 2013!!! Uugghh that’s my birthday time and I am in no rush to turn 24. Thanks

Wow the trailer was in November 2011 and it’s coming out in 2013? At least they should have released the trailer later so we aren’t waiting for 2 years
