Just Cause 3 on the PC, specially on AMD configurations is a bit of a mix bag. Several users are reporting performance issues, crashes and stuttering. Please be advised that the following methods are to be used at the sole discretion of the platform owner. GamingBolt or its staff members take no responsibility for problems that may arise or issues that may occur from trying the below. Always remember that official support is always the best support.

If you are facing stuttering issues, try disabling motion blur from the graphics settings of the game. If this does not fix the issue, ensure that you have updated drivers installed for your GPU card. Both Nvidia and AMD have released updated drivers for Just Cause 3 and they are expected to improve performance specially on the latter.

If you are facing performance issues or fps drops, try and play the game in offline mode. This means you need to switch off your Wi-fi or Ethernet cable. The game continuously pings the servers to fetch leaderboard data for various in-game activities which have no impact on the way you will play the game. So it’s best to play the game in offline mode.

Some configurations may result into blurry image quality, even if your hardware is meeting the recommended requirements to run the game. Try turning off Bokeh and Depth of Field settings in the graphics menu in order to resolve this. Furthermore, please note that the game does not support dual GPU configurations.

Most AMD users are reporting crashing issues. In this case try updating the drivers to beta 15.11.1. This driver update can be downloaded from AMD’s official website. The game also suffers from long loading times. So far there is no fix but playing in offline mode may fix this. But overall, this is an issue that Avalanche is aware about and will be hopefully patched out soon.

And finally, as always, ensure that you meet the requirements to run this game.
