Life is Strange 2 Still in Development at Dontnod

Focus currently on Before The Storm.

Though one was happy as happy could be to see Chloe Price return for the prequel-esque Life is Strange: Before The Storm, a part of me did want a sequel and the original team at Dontnod to be working on it.

Fortunately, in a recent Steam Community blog post, the developer confirmed that Before The Storm is the second Life is Strange project in development. Dontnod is still very much working on a new game.

“So yes, that means there are now TWO Life is Strange projects in development, with DONTNOD Entertainment having also recently announced that they are also working on a new game. You’ll be the first to hear when we have more news on their game but for now, let’s focus on the newly announced Life is Strange: Before the Storm.”

It makes sense, especially when Dontnod itself said the Life is Strange sequel wouldn’t be at E3 2017 but Before The Storm was. Overall, more Life is Strange can’t be a bad thing for any fan, even if it will be a while before the sequel is showcased.

Life is Strange: Before The Storm sees its first episode release on August 31st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
