Minecraft Themed Xbox One S Console Announced

It's really pretty, and kids should love it.

Today at Gamescom Microsoft announced a brand new Minecraft themed Xbox One S console, which is basically shaped like one of the iconic blocks from the hit video game. It even has some really awesome redstone circuitry on it that will light up every time you connect a controller (which to me is an awesome little neat touch).

There’s also a cute little creeper controller for the console, as well as another little pig style one (that one will be sold separately, however). Obviously, a copy of Minecraft will be included with the console as well, with a DLC pack that includes additional costumes and texture packs thrown into the package in addition too.

The bundle will go on sale on October 3, but you can pre-order it starting today. You can also play Minecraft on PS4, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android smart devices, as well as legacy systems such as PS3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, and Wii U.
