It seems that Vicarious Visions showcased a countdown site for the next Crash Bandicoot title sooner than they thought. This could be attributed to no countdown actually being in place, but who cares? A new Crash Bandicoot game is possibly on its way, at last, and it won’t be long before some official word comes out regarding the same.

Concerning the teaser site, you can check out a screenshot of the page that’s been doing the rounds lately.

Activision currently owns the franchise and it’s been rumoured that Vicarious Visions has been developing a new game in the series. The expected platforms include Xbox 360, Wii U and PlayStation – although the last one isn’t really specified so it could be the PS3, PS4, PS Vita or all three.

Will Crash Bandicoot still be relevant in this day and age of grit? Or has Vicarious Visions retooled him in just the right way that other developers just couldn’t? We’ll find out in the weeks to come.
