Are you interested in playing NHL 17 ahead of launch? Then you may be in luck, because EA Sports are sending out invitations for the game’s closed beta via email right now- so you might want to check your inbox to see if you got an invite. The emails consist of three codes, one for you. and two more, for your friends.
The beta will let invited players test out the game’s Online Versus mode, Creation Zone mode, EA Sports Hockey League mode, and Hockey Ultimate Team mode ahead of the final release. The beta will run from now, and through to next Thursday, August 4.
If you don’t get the invite to the beta, however, don’t lose heart- as long as you own an Xbox One, you’ll still get to play the game a little ahead of launch, when it launches on EA Access. NHL 17 will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 13
