No Man's Sky

Another glitch has been found in No Man’s Sky– though unlike the earlier one that we reported on, this one is more beneficial to players than hindering their progress. Essentially, as anyone who has been following our coverage for No Man’s Sky knows at this point, the game is mostly about collecting items and resources- but what a lot of readers probably don’t know is that the game takes that to an extreme with trying to access its ultimate ending, which requires players to grind a whole lot of items.

That can take a lot of time, and it can actually take away from the game’s wonder of exploration by reducing it all to a banal metagame. Now, an exploit has been discovered that lets players potentially bypass the grind entirely- the exploit works when you die in your ship. After this, reloading an older save lets you keep your inventory as it was then, and also claim your inventory from your death in your unsaved file- essentially letting you doubling your entire inventory. With some time, you can bypass your entire grind this way.

If you’re sufficiently far along into the game, you may want to utilize this exploit now- since it’s likely going to be patched out soon enough.
