Overwatch Highlight Saving and Exporting Details Coming This Summer

You'll be able to save your best plays soon.

If you’ve ever pulled off some sick plays in Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch but found no way to share them, much less save them once exiting the game, then Blizzard may have a solution soon. It promised changes to the current Highlights feature last year and director Jeff Kaplan has announced on the forums that more information is due.

“This is the current focus of the feature team (one of the smaller development strike teams on the Overwatch team). The team is working extremely hard on this and has been for months. Expect more details early this summer.”

The main plan is to allow players to save and export Highlights as they see fit. The current program keeps five Highlights ready with each subsequent Highlight thereafter erasing the old ones. Leaving the game completely erases all the Highlights archived.
