Overwatch’s Tracer Is Coming to Heroes of the Storm This Week

So does this make her a Heroes of the Storm character, instead of an Overwatch character?

Overwatch Tracer

Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm is going to get a new star this week- Tracer from Overwatch, Blizzard’s own (still unreleased) shooter, technically making Heroes the first playable appearance Tracer has had. Her Heroes rendition is described as a highly mobile assassin, and it seems as though her temporal abilities – including ‘blinking’ through space, and undoing the time just passed – have made the transition to the MOBA relatively unscathed.

The video below explains her abilities in Heroes of the Storm better. It sounds like she will be a unique, powerful character, who should appeal to a lot of players. Even her one weakness – the fact that she only has one Hero power – is well covered by that power being upgradable rather effectively once she reaches level 10.

Those who pre-ordered Overwatch Origin Edition will be able to play as her in Heroes of the Storm starting tomorrow- otherwise, you need to wait till April 26.
