Free to play online RPG Path of Exile will be receiving a new expansion on August 20th called Forsaken Masters. This is a very sizeable update and will see you training with seven different Masters who will train you in various skills. You’ll need to complete their respective missions which each have their own styles and these missions will apparently have “many variations.”

Forsaken Masters will also include new items, mods, hideouts for Exiles to personalize, new support and skill gems, an upgrade for your crafting benches, and of course, more skills and challenges for the passive skill tree. There will also be new Challenge Leagues, including the new Rampage Challenge league (for which more information will be revealed on August 8th).

Path of Exile is already completely free (with some micro-transactions thrown in for items) and Forsaken Masters will also be free. What are your thoughts on the next expansion? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
