Developer Amber Studio and publisher Bandai Namco have announced that PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Celebrating the game’s launch is a new trailer that you can check out below.
The game is essentially an expanded re-release of PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle—a battle royale-styled multiplayer game that was originally released on Google Stadia, but had since been taken down because of Stadia’s closure back in early 2023.
PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs pits players against 63 other players as everyone gets in a mad scramble for survival. Players will have to try to clear out their own mazes of pellets, while also taking on their opponent’s mazes.
The standard Elimination mode of PAC-MAN Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs features ranked and unranked modes, with the former also featuring leaderboards. There are also missions that players can complete to earn extra rewards in the form of cosmetics.
