So far, we have known of four of the playable characters in the highly anticipated PlayStation exclusive RPG, Persona 5- the main character, the Phantom, and his friends Anne and Ryuji, as well as Morgana, the mysterious catlike being who can also manipulate Personas.

Now, the fifth member of their gang has been revealed, and as many suspected, it is the blue haired painter boy from the second trailer for Persona 5.

“The fifth member of the Phantom Thieves is a young man named Yuusuke Kitagawa, voiced by Tomokazu Sugita. His persona is Goemon. He is a scholarship student that attends the Kousei Public High School as part of the academy’s art course. He is a live-in disciple of his Japanese painter landlord Madarame,” his description reads (translation by Gematsu).

Personally, I appreciate that this time, we will also be privy to characters who will not all be going to the main character’s school- it leads to the game’s world seeming bigger, and that much more believable, if it does not all revolve around the protagonist.

Persona 5 is going to launch for the PS3 and PS4 in summer 2016.
