Though Sony is rumoured to be revealing the release date for the PlayStation 4 at this year’s Gamescom 2013 taking place on August 21st to 25th, The Gamer Network has recently revealed that the next generation console will be playable at the Eurogamer Expo. With 70,000 attendees expected, this will be consumers’ – those who live in the UK at least – chance to finally play the console.

To top it off, titles like Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Batman: Arkham Origins, Dark Souls II and much more are also expected to be in attendance, which can be experienced hands-on. This year’s expo will also mark the return of the Indie Arcade with a tourney and retro area in place thanks to Sega.

Eurogamer Expo 2013 will be taking place in London, at the Earls Court from September 26th to September 29th. Currently, weekend tickets and four day passes are sold out, with tickets available for Thursday and Friday, so act fast if you want to attend.
