PlayStation Experience 2015 List of Exhibitors Is Lacking At The Moment

Not the best list ever but this may change in the coming weeks.

The PlayStation Experience last year was a great event- Sony took the stage to update us on their first party projects, and how they were coming along, announced new games, and also showed us some great games from their third party partners. It was also only the first event of its kind- so it makes sense that everybody, including Sony themselves, wouldn’t bet their best cards on the event, right? Surely this year’s PSX, following up on the success of last year’s event, would be bigger and better, seeing more big name third party games and studios jumping on board?

Yeah, well… doesn’t appear that that is the case. Above you can see the list of the exhibitors that have so far been confirmed for the event. It’s nothing remarkable, and even appears to be a step down from last year’s event. The list of games confirmed, which follows below, is even worse- even a first party title like Uncharted 4 does not seem to be mentioned on here:

  • Amplitude
  • Assault Android Cactus
  • Blind
  • Chasm
  • Cosmic Star Heroine
  • Crypt of the NecroDancer
  • Darkest Dungeon
  • Death Tales
  • Death’s Gambit
  • Distance
  • Drifter
  • Drive!Drive!Drive!
  • Dungeons & Dragons Sword Coast Legends
  • EarthNight
  • Firewatch
  • FutureGrind
  • GNOG
  • Gunsport
  • Invisible, Inc.
  • Kerbal Space Program
  • Killing Floor 2
  • Klaus
  • Life Goes On: Done to Death
  • Lost Sea
  • Manifold Garden
  • Metrico+
  • Moon Hunters
  • Night in the Woods
  • Nuclear Throne
  • Randall
  • Ray’s the Dead
  • Revolver360 RE:Actor
  • Salt and Sanctuary
  • Screencheat
  • Sentris
  • Severed
  • Skytorn
  • SmuggleCraft
  • Soft Body
  • Space Dave
  • Stories: The Path of Destinies
  • Strike Vector
  • The King of Fighters XIV
  • Thumper
  • To Leave
  • Tumblestone
  • Videoball
  • Viking Squad

Of course, this is far from it- Sony will have more games and exhibitors revealed soon, so maybe it gets better. As of right now, I am not exactly the most excited for the show, which takes place December 5-6 this year.

  • Right, because let’s list any and all 1st or 3rd party games that may be planning a SURPRISE appearance. I think everyone knows Uncharted 4 will be there in some shape or form. It’s been at two E3’s (yes, including the announcement) and the last PSX. Considering the list of developers and publishers that will be there (, I think we can expect more than the games listed above.

I agree. They can’t add the Quantic Dreams game and VR game before it’s been announced at the PlayStation Paris Games Week press conference and they can’t include the Sony Bend game before it’s been announced at PSX.

    No Man’s Sky?

It’s not like last year’s PSEx was mind blowing… the only huge announcement was that of SFV exclusivity, and nobody was very interested in it anyway.

I just hope their are some surprises because what’s on that list don’t make me want to jump for joy.

Sony has never revealed everything pre show. Same as E3 or any other conference. These are not the only games the PS4 has coming soon.

Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted 4, Street Fighter V (PS4/PC), Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune, Dragon Quest Builders, The Witness, The King of Fighters XlV, Gravity Rush Remastered, Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness (Japan first), are PlayStation exclusives scheduled to release between January and March 2016.

They obviously aren’t going to show you the new announcements before PSX dumb*ss.

A lot of those games are smaller newer titles that deserve a chance. Not every developer can afford massive budget type games. It’s sad that out of that entire list you aren’t impressed by any of them. Killing Floor 2 and Driftor caught my eye.

And of course the Microsoft fanboys are already starting their campaign to downplay PGW and PSX because Microsoft already blew their load with their arguably underwhelming E3 and Gamescom showing full of old IPs and few new announced games while Sony still has two more conferences left for this year. The gap in exclusive games is continuing to grow.

But if Microsoft fanboys like Starman, Mark, and GHz would’ve put their money where their mouth is maybe the AAA Microsoft fanboy titled “king of racers” wouldn’t have flopped so badly. Same goes for Sunset Overdrive. Maybe the stereotypes are true. Microsoft fanboys only care about Halo.

Get over it, pony. Sony games lineup for this event just plain sucks. Don’t blame MS for Sony’s lack of effort. Enjoy those

Indiestation 4 after the waitstation 3.
