Sony Exec Teases Big Things Coming, Paris Games Week Could Have Serious Reveals

It will be interesting to see just what Sony has in store.

It shouldn’t come as a big surprise that Sony is trying to get people quite hyped for the upcoming Paris Games week. Because the company skipped Gamescom, there are some who believe they lost a little ground to Microsoft in the console wars and the company is going to want to make that up when it comes to the PS4 heading into the Holiday season. To that end, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, and Strategic Content Director Shahid Ahmad took to Twitter to tout the things he’s seen and the companies he’s signed.

Ahmad first tweeted out that he wished other people could see the things he’s seen over the last week or so, clearly hinting that he’s gotten his eyes on some very good games. He followed that up with another tweet saying “it’s my job to bring great devs and games to PlayStation and I like investing money in great talent.” A couple more tweets  showed the exec is pretty excited about being able to tell people just why this past week has been so good for him.

The best news of all came when people started actually asking him about when we could expect to see some of the things the exec was talking about. One particular user asked whether the just announced Kick Off was what he was talking about. Ahmad responded that was just the tip of the iceberg. He was also asked whether people might be able to see some of these wonderful things at Paris Games Week and he teased back with “you never know,” and a winky smile. It appears we are indeed going to be able to see some big things in the very near future.

Xbox One’s great holiday season games lineup is making Sony a little nervous so they’re gonna show trailers of games that will be releasing in 2017 and 2018 lol

“muh killer holiday lineup” Two full exclusives (the only ones you’re getting all year) which are rehashes, cross-gen rentals and PC ports. Your lineup sucks, pal. 🙂

It looks like the Microsoft fanboys are getting very nervous because after Microsoft’s lackluster E3 and Gamescom showing, Microsoft doesn’t have anything left to announce this year, while Sony just had TGS, and still has Paris Games Week, and PSX coming up.

Forza 6 already flopped so that just leaves Halo 5 and a timed exclusive Rise of the Tomb Raider. If that is all Microsoft can muster up as their “Greatest Games Lineup in Xbox History” , then Xbox One is certainly done.
