Sony Sending Out Free Game Codes for Data Breach in 2011
If you participated in a class action lawsuit, you get your chance to get another free game.
The infamous 2011 PSN hack still comes back to haunt Sony- while the company already offered free games to compensate to affected users before, they are now offering free games to everyone who participated against Sony in a class action lawsuit regarding the severity of the data breach, and Sony’s ineptness in handling the situation.
If you participated in the class action lawsuit by filling out the lengthy legal forms, you are entitled to either a free PSP game, PS3 game, PS Vita game, or some themes. You can also avail it for some store credit. The list of free games and themes on offer includes:
- Dead Nation
- Super Stardust HD
- Invizimals: Lost Kingdom
- Modnation Racers
- Patapon 3
- Killzone Liberation
- Wipeout Pure
- Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
- Patapon 3
- Killzone: Liberation
- WipeEout HD Dynamic Theme
- Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Dynamic Theme
- Tokyo Jungle Dynamic Theme
- The Last of Us Dynamic Theme
- Ratchet & Clank Dynamic Theme
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Dynamic Theme
With this, Sony are now finally done with the 2011 hacks- and hopefully, cyber intrusions and incursions are never going to be a problem for the firm going forward.
