Go loud, go dark or go stealthy...ish.

How will you go about playing Ubisoft Toronto’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist? The developer has released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the many different styles you can employ.

You can opt for the Ghost style, which means primarily relying on stealth to bypass guards and other obstacles without being seen. Or you can opt for the Panther style as you go about silently taking down guards and downright assassinating your targets. Finally, there’s the Assault play style which means throwing caution to wind and just outright shooting things, rampaging through the levels like a boss.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist sees Sam Fisher in charge of Fourth Echelon, as he hunts down a sinister new organization which is responsible for The Blacklist attacks ravaging the United States. It will be releasing for PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U in North America on August 20th and in Europe on August 23rd. Check out our interview with creative director Maxime Beland for more information on the game.
